Who We Are
NGD Backups is the managed backup service from Next Generation Designs. We have spent years supporting business technology, and the same problem kept coming up: backups that nobody was watching.
Software gets installed, a job gets scheduled, and then a year passes. When something finally goes wrong, that's when everyone discovers the job had been failing since March. We built this service so that doesn't happen to our clients.
How We Work
We keep it straightforward. You get a clear recommendation, a working deployment, and ongoing monitoring — plus a portal where you can see your own storage usage without asking anyone.
No overselling, no unnecessary complexity, and no pretending a sync tool is a backup. If something is not worth backing up, we'll tell you that too.

A Backup Isn't Real Until It Restores
Anyone can schedule a job. The only proof that a backup works is a successful restore, which is why we test them rather than assume.
You Should Know What You're Paying For
Storage usage is pulled directly from Backblaze and shown to you in your portal. No estimates, no black box, no surprises at renewal.
Support Should Be a Person
When you have a problem, you reach the people who configured your system — not a ticket queue that has never seen your environment.
